Dealing with one's own abuse is a difficult decision to make. Many people do not to get help with coping with their own abuse because they are unsure of who or where to turn to. Agencies such as The Women's Center work toward helping people move from victims of abuse to survivors.

The Parenting Center

The Parenting Center provides families with the tools to succeed through education classes, counseling, in-home case management, and co-parenting services. Topics of workshops and classes range from anger management to coping with blended families.

Stop It Now!

Stop It Now! prevents the sexual abuse of children by mobilizing adults, families, and communities through direct support, information, and resources to take action that protects children before they are harmed.

Resources for Sexual Assault Survivors

The Sexual Assault Survivors’ Task Force (SASTF) created the Resources for Sexual Assault Survivors as a searchable service provider directory for survivors across Texas. The directory is searchable by organization name, services, city and county. Search results may include local and statewide service providers.
